Nawa! Ta ra sa Stahat Pbaschatee, My Pawnee name translates to “Food in Kettle”. Ta ra sa Electa Hare, MSW. I serve the Pawnee Nation as the Irirartutakicisu (i-dee-daa-duu-daa-kee-chee-suu) Systems Navigator. This means I nourish our Pawnee governmental systems with resources, research skills, mindfulness, policy support, and leadership development in programs impacting children, youth and families. I serve close to my Pawnee people because of my cultural obligations and commitment to restoring hope in our homeplaces. I have served as a technical assistant specialist for the powerful and impactful organization the Intertribal Agriculture Council, and served as a mentor for our Pawnee Seed Preservation Society, our collaborative graduate student internship efforts in Food and Agriculture Systems, and have completed the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Health Policy Research Scholars fellowship from 2017-2021. My goal is to work with the Collaboratory for Indigenous Data Governance workgroup so I may develop research and implementation skills for folks who do not want to leaved their cultural homes. Thank you for including me in the initiative and the cohort.
