Rachelle Begay, MPH, (Diné) is a doctoral student in Epidemiology in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona with a research focus on American Indian (AI) cancer health disparities and their social and environmental contexts. She is also the Program Coordinator for the Center for Indigenous Environmental Health Research at the University of Arizona. At the Center, she supports research staff in conducting community-driven and community-based research that examines the health impacts from environmental exposures in tribal communities.
