PhD candidate in Higher Education at the University of Arizona
Sara serves as NNI’s program coordinator and is affiliated with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe from the Old Pascua community. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice and Public Policy and Management from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University. Sara’s professional journey includes roles as a Program Coordinator at the University of Arizona THINK TANK with the Schedule for Success program and as an NNI Project Assistant during her undergraduate studies. Sara is deeply committed to advancing Indigenous governance and fostering the development of tribal nations.
