Shelby Crespino is a Masters Candidate in the Museum Studies program at New York University, set to graduate in May of 2021. Within the Museum Studies field her focus lies in the intersection of Museum practices and Indigenous Studies and how both of these communities have been affected by the digitization efforts in the time of COVID-19. Currently, Shelby is writing her Master’s Thesis on Indigenous Data Sovereignty under the mentorship of Dr. Jane Anderson.
